Michelle Macnamara is a Byron Bay-based author, illustrator, and the creative force behind Great Fun Books Co.

She writes and illustrates original Australian children's picture books designed to make little ones laugh, listen, and ask for just one more page.

Her stories are written in fun, rhythmic rhyme - paired with bold, colourful illustrations that bring every character to life.

It's a combination that keeps kids engaged from the very first page to the last.

When she's not writing or drawing, Michelle is living the Byron Bay life with her husband and daughter - building block towers, rolling around on the floor, and generally taking make-believe very seriously.
